The Civil Service Bureau organized an introductory presentation on the initiatives of the the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism (Bahrainuna), presented by the Executive Director of the plan Mrs. Hala Sulaiman.

 

His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Zayed Al-Zayed, President of the Civil Service Bureau, affirmed the Bureau's keenness to implement His Majesty the King's vision and fully support the initiatives and objectives of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism (Bahrainuna). He also pointed out that the initiatives implemented by the Bureau aim at enhancing national belonging and dedication in providing services to citizens based on the national sense among civil servants, where he stressed that these initiatives are based on national responsibility among employees and encourage them to cherish their country and their Bahraini identity.

 

The President of the Civil Service Bureau clarified that the Civil Service Bureau, in coordination with the Executive Office of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism, has formed executive and media task forces to implement initiatives targeting all employees under the umbrella of the civil service within the national plan.

 

Ms. Hala Sulaiman stressed that the plan is based on five main tracks targeting different categories of citizens. She also pointed out that the initiatives implemented by several government entities under the supervision of the Executive Office achieve specific objectives that promote the preservation of the values, customs and traditions of the people of Bahrain that embody best forms of solidarity among the people of the same country, and portray  sense of belonging, tolerance, moderation and commitment to national unity.

 

 

The initiatives of the Civil Service Bureau, which were coordinated with those concerned at the Bureau, were presented for them to be launched and implemented.

 

Furthermore, the initiatives included in the national plan were discussed, and many ideas and opinions were put forward in order to activate and implement the initiatives of the Bureau in cooperation with the government entities, to enhance the status of the Kingdom of Bahrain among the employees as part of their national responsibility.

The Communication Directorate also held an introductory workshop on the initiatives of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism (Bahrainuna). This is due to the importance of increasing awareness of the tasks of implementing the initiatives of the Civil Service Bureau, and the importance of publicizing the national plan in general as a common national responsibility and a national duty..

 

Officials at the Civil Service Bureau praised the detailed presentation of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism delivered by Ms. Hala Sulaiman.

It is worth mentioning that the Civil Service Bureau has started work on the "For You" initiative, which is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Development, which sheds light on the employees who work under the umbrella of the civil service in difficult jobs. It aims to award these employees and increase their satisfaction and appreciation. In addition, CSB has started work on the the "Distinguished Government Employee" initiative, which aims to increase the sense of appreciation of government employees for their efforts and that their tender continues from the national responsibility. Moreover, work is underway on these two initiatives in addition to other initiatives that will be launched later.
