The director General of Organization and Position Budget, Eng. Jamal Abdul Aziz Al-Alawi confirmed that the Civil Service Bureau has examined the applications for the allocation of vehicles to entities affiliated under the umbrella of the Bureau for the year 2018 through the identification of actual needs for the use of vehicles in government entities. This is based on the keenness of the Civil Service Bureau to implement the policies adopted to ensure the proper functioning of the government facilities and enhance productivity in government entities to achieve outstanding government performance.
The director General of Organization and Position Budget clarified that during the past year, and following the analytical studies, CSB approved the allocation of 927 vehicles to government entities in order to facilitate and enable government entities to complete tasks and duties to the fullest.
Vehicles were allocated for transportation between work sites that do not have roads suitable for private vehicles, locations that require transport via vehicles with special specifications, in addition to equipment transportation.
The Ministry of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning were allocated with the highest number of vehicles, where 403 vehicles were allocated to it, followed by the Ministry of Health with 244 vehicles and the Ministry of Education with 114 vehicles.
Eng. Jamal Al-Alawi concluded by stressing that the Civil Service Bureau pays particular attention to the study of actual needs of the allocation of vehicles in order to support government entities in the completion of the projects, programs and tasks in the best quality.
