Their Excellencies the Ministers:

1. This is to inform the Ministries of the continuing requirement for full clearances on all applicants for local hire appointments in the Government Civil Service. This covers permanent, part-time and temporary hires, including appointment of students in the summer.

2. Such clearances are also required for employees entering a training program either inside or outside Bahrain.

3. No applicant may be permitted to begin work or enter a training program until clearance requirements have been checked by the Civil Service Bureau. And the CSB Form (50) appointment document or training approval CSB Form (01-3300) has been delivered to the ministry.

4. In order to facilitate recruitment actions, particularly summer students, it is advised that ministries should pre-plan their staffing requirements sufficiently ahead of the projected required date to avoid delay of recruitment
