We would like to inform Your Excellencies of the continuation of normal attendence requirements.

Serving the puplic promptly and efficiently is a high priority in government especially at this time. The Civil Service Bureau has been informed that certain employees are absenting themselves from work without ministry approval to use leave.

Please insure the following regulations are applied accurately and uniformly.,/p>

CS Reg 402, Attendance Control, 15 January 1990
CS Reg 601, Annual Leave, 15 January 1990
CS Reg 471, Administering Discipline, 3 August 1987

Ministries are requested to inform CSB daily with effect from 19 Janyary the name, title, grade and organization unit of employees who are not reporting to their jobs, except those who are on leave that was approved in advance. The reports are to be delivered in writing to the EMR Section of CSB.
