Transmitted herewith is the Civil Service Regulation to implement the provisions of Resolution No. 16 for 1992 dated 22 September 1992 of H.H. The Prime Minister , Chairman of the Civil Service Council, regarding eligibility for non job related allowances and leaves to government employees during absences from work due to work injury.

This regulation provides for granting non job related allowances to an employee who is absent from work due to work injury and for considering him in duty status for purposes of. eligibility for other Civil Service benefits.

It also clarifies the procedures to be followed to assure that an employee receives salary compensation and non job related allowances while absent from work due to work injury.

This regulation is effective 22 September 1992.
