Subject: Hours of Duty CSR 604
Their Excellencies the Ministers.
The regulation is a revision regulation regarding the government's five day work week to be effective 3 February 1990. It supersedes CSR 604 , dated 13 February 1980.
Normal working hours will be from 7:00 am to 2:15 pm from Satuarday to Tuesday and until 2:00 pm on Wednesday.
Ministries are authorized to establish, in coordination with the Civil Service Bureau, alternate duty schedules to provide shift work or Thursday service to the public where required.
If the official holiday falls on Friday, it will be compensated with another day off. If it falls on Thursday no other day off will be given in lieu of Thursday.
