This Regulation implements policies and procedures for the training and development of government employees. The basic policy was established by Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Resolution No. (5) dated 6th May 1980.

This transmittal sheet revises three paragraphs in Civil Service Regulation No. 801 dated 1st December, 1980 regarding Employees Training and Development

Make the following pen and ink changes on the mentioned paragraphs of your regulation.

Paragraph 3: Annual Training Survey:
In the first line change to ..... every two years .... instead of each year.

Paragraph 5: Submission of Individual Training Requests:
In the last line para 5a, change to .... four .....instead of six weeks.

Paragraph 5: Forms & Records:
In line 6 of para 9b change to .... Ministries .... instead of Training & Management Development Directorate and omit the last sentence .... One copy goes to the Ministry concerned.

These revisions will make the provisions of this regulation more realistic for Planning and practical for application in meeting training and development needs.
